The Lion, The Witch, and The Electronic Cigarette Shop
Walking into an Electronic Cigarette Shop preparing to purchase something, you expect to be treated like they want your business. Now I’m not asking for them to roll out the red carpet for my arrival, but when you work with the public you should have the skills to make people feel like they can be comfortable and trust you. Especially since the hard battle us Vapers are coming up against. With the regulation of Electronic Cigarettes, we should be united as a community.
Therefore, my story begins with me just moving into Hollywood Florida. My job had transferred me and since I was “the new girl” I went and drove around the city looking at what my surroundings had to offer. Found my local Publix at Hollywood Circle, a cute shopping section at Oakwood plaza (plus my local movie theatre), and of course all the fast food chains close by.
While putzing around town I decided to use my GPS and find myself a local Electronic Cigarette shop. I have been in the E Cigarette world for quite a bit of time, we will say a little more than three years, and I absolutely just hated ordering on line. Honestly, it’s just a little too stressful for me. I have had it all starting with ce4s and 1100 LCD batteries and everything in-between. To my own sub ohm coils with a ton of MOD batteries. So in no way am I an Electronic Cigarette virgin. And I wasn’t about to stop now, so I wanted to find the perfect place that had everything I would need.
My First Electronic Cigarette Shop Experience
My GPS brings me to an Electronic Cigarette shop and I walk into the door with my Kanger Aerotank and my MPV3.0. Visually it looked like it was a nice chill and vape setup with furniture that collaborated together well… I was hit with blaring music fit more for a club or dive bar than a work environment. You could tell what kind of cliental they were aiming towards and I don’t think I fit their customer “mold”. None the less, it wasn’t like I was going to live in the shop so I decided to peruse around and scope out what they had to offer.
Some pieces I liked and wanted to get some prices, but when I looked around for help it was hard to distinguish who was an employee and who was a customer. Everyone was just standing around chitchatting about random things. I cleared my throat and a man looked up and walked over… Surprise one of the randoms was an employee. To make a long experience a short story, the employees were lackadaisical and rude. They thought they knew everything and made me feel like I was just a big dumb-dumb. They turned their noses up at my Electronic Cigarette and tried to take advantage of me by selling items way above the standard price. No sir! I was not having it. I thanked them for their time, and put them on my “never going there again” list.
My Favorite Electronic Cigarette Store
I had my GPS pull up another Electronic Cigarette shop and I crossed my fingers that things would turn out way differently.
I pull up to E Cigarette USA and they had a giant neon sign that said “E CIGARETTE VAPE SHOP”.
Best Experience Ever!
When they buzzed me into their store I’m hit with a sweet inviting smell. In addition, the place looks clean and professional. And they have lots of their products on display. Hence, a woman tells me that someone will be right with me. And on cue a lady comes out to help me. She was very polite and impressed me as I was able to point at any product and she could tell me the exact price from the top of her head. Honestly, the pricing was very reasonable and could even be considered a bargain. Where as, you could tell they were in no way trying to scam people out of their money. They were genuinely interested in the well-being of every person that walked through their door.
As a result, they had a vast selection of items, including clearomizers and coils that I had been led to believe were no longer in production. Seeing the H5 clearomizers made me happier than a pig in mud. I always thought they looked like lollipops and was unable to attain them anywhere anymore. With all these deals and bargains I couldn’t help it… gosh dang it… I just couldn’t contain it… I was in love with this store.
Furthermore, the lady I continued working with reviewed my order with me… “7 H5 clearomizers… one in each color. The ‘Kanger Topbox Mini Pro Temp Control 75W Starter Kit’ in cherry red. Finally, Customer service? CHECK! Quality selection? CHECK! A heck of a deal?????? A THOUSAND CHECKS!!!!!!
While they were putting together my purchase. I saw customers walk in and out with smiles on their faces. As well as, the Employees really know how to interact with the vaping community. They made you feel like friends and family, instead of just a profit to be made
